Gacha Bakradze (born December 27, 1989) also known by his stage name Snapdance, is a Georgian electronic musician best known as a member of the Electro music duo Me & My Monkey [MAMM]. He Was Born In Batumi, Georgia and Started His Musical career there. Having learnt to play guitar at the tender age of ten, Gacha began his quest to realize his own innate fragile melodies and harmonies early on, but it wasn't until some years later, in a eureka moment brought about by discovering Boards of Canada's classic ambient work Geogaddi, that he began to really strive to shape his own sound and sonic environment. Adding the MPC and classic Korg synths to his arsenal, Gacha gradually, patiently developed his own signature and his early productions were quickly picked up on by various influential music blogs.
He had played in some local rock bands. Later he moved to Tbilisi and joined post punk & alternative rock band Vietnam Radio. In 2007 he met Sandro Chinchaladze at a party and they became friends. Later they decided to play together and then they began recording and rehearsing at Sandros' place. So, the band Me & Monkey formed. Influenced by favorites like NIN, Mogwai, Soulwax, Radiohead and etc.
In 2011 Gacha left MAMM & started his solo career. In 2012 he signed Apollo Records (R&S) & debut EP "Remember" also came out. With this stellar debut release on Apollo, Gacha, still in his early twenties, shows himself to be fully conversant with a number of styles older than his own tender age: from the dip and swing of Dilla to the ominous, dusty atmospheres of early dubstep, via the textures of Aphex twin and classic Detroit House.
